I have a wonderful network of blog "friends." Although If I am ever able to be in the same room with them, I'd probably be the wallflower as my shyness would kick in BIG time! I learn so much from them every time I read their blogs. Most, if not all, are strong Christian adoptive parents who are passionate about the plight of orphans around the world. They are also passionate about their relationship with God and they love, LOVE, L.O.V.E spreading his word and helping others all in HIS name. I personally believe this is how I became much more passionate about orphans and about my own walk with Christ. I'm still a novice, by all stretch of the imagination. But I'm willing to learn and that is what counts the most.
Anywhosit, I wanted to inform you of some things happening in my Bloggy World. So here ya go:
- Linny is setting up a global PRAYER center. It's all hands, knees and stomachs on deck. Serious prayer is needed for many, MANY adoptive parents currently dealing with spiritual warfare.
- Courtney and her family are dealing with a recent dis*ruption. Please pray for their family as they go through this trying ordeal.
- Corey has setup a special club for those parents (I believe both adoptive and biological) who have dealt with s*xual abuse. A wonderful group of people who can relate and offer each other support and guidance. I hope to never, EVER, have to join this group, but I'm glad that there is someone (or many someones) wiling and able to help those in need.
- Lisa is just AWESOME! I love her blog.
- Christie is pounding the pavement for Uganda and is preparing to move there (I think she's in LOVE with a certain guy she met there... but shhhh... she doesn't want us to know though lol!).
- Kristin always has something witty, funny and educational to say.
I think that's it. All in all, my bloggy world has been "hoppin." There is loads to read and a ton to learn. I am so very thankful to have found some wonderful reading companions.
